Final Album Advert

Final Digipack

Font change for media products

We were unable to download the DaFont Amethyst font that we originally planned due to technical problems. Instead we found a simplistic, bold font that was across all Adobe software, meaning we could use it in After Effects for our music video title, copy it across to Premier Pro, also use it in Photoshop for our digipack and album advert.
This font is called 'Engravers MT Regular'.

Evaluation Task 2

Mood Board
Representing my inspirations in comparison to my final piece.

Overall, I feel that our video and ancillaries expresses the cohesive pattern we intended. We created a brand and identity through using the same font and colour scheme throughout. The representation of the female as strong, emotional and independent is also carried through. To conclude, we feel proud of our final coursework and have achieved a successful brand for our artist.

Font plan for all media products

We want to keep the font cohesive throughout all the media products such as the opening of the music video, the digipak and the magazine advert. This will then lead the audience to recognise the artist through common features that link the products together. This will build an identity and signature style, inspired by our artists Ellie Goulding, Lorde and Ed Sheeran who keep this consistent in all their work.

We used Dafont to find creative, decorative fonts that were simplistic and bold. We have decided on Amethyst as it connotes mystery and mystical due to the crystal details. It is also capitalised and eligible, like Lorde's style.
